Shuttle Service

The RALC shuttle runs each Tuesday and Thursday throughout the year, except for holidays. The shuttle begins its journey at University of Richmond and travels in order to the followings schools and libraries: Virginia Commonwealth University (academic campus), Library of Virginia, J. Sargeant Reynolds (downtown campus), Randolph Macon College, Union Theological Seminary, Virginia Union University, John Tyler Community College (Chester campus), Virginia State University, Richard Bland College, Virginia Commonwealth University (second stop) and returns to University of Richmond.

RALC contracts Professional Courier Incorporated (Richmond, VA) to handle media and ILL book deliveries to each of the stops. At present there is no central catalog for the RALC co-op schools, although many of the schools do have catalogs on line which may be accessed by the general public. Faculty are asked to present media requests to their school's media representatives at least two weeks prior to their show dates. No requests will be honored after 12 noon the day before the shuttle runs. Titles may be kept two to three weeks if so requested.
