- How do I check out materials from the library?
- JSRCC students can check out library materials with student ID cards. Please check
http://www.reynolds.edu/security/studentids.htm for information on how to get student ID cards. Faculty, Staff and non-JSRCC affiliates can check out materials with library cards which can be applied for at the library circulation desk.

- What is the loan period for library materials?
- Books and Audiobooks: 4 weeks (28 days) with the possibility of one additional 4-week renewal.
Popular DVDs 1 week with no renewal.
Some materials may have special loan periods. See Circulation Polices for more information.

- Can I return library materials to any campus library?
- Yes, you can return JSRCC library materials to any JSRCC campus library.

- How many books can I check out at a time?
- Students may have up to 15 items checked out at one time. Community patrons may check out up to five books. See Circulation Polices for more information.

- How do I renew a book?
- Books may be renewed online, or during library hours, in person or by telephone.
To renew online, sign into the catalog with your my JSRCC account. Click on Loans number. The items you have checked out will be displayed. Click on the item you want to renew. If it is eligible for renewal, you can click Renew. You will be taken back to your list of checked out items and the new due date will be displayed.
If you cannot access your account, please call your library circulation desk and ask the staff to check your campus location in your account.

- How do I get a book from a different library? (Inter-library Loan)
- If a book you want is not available at JSRCC libraries, you can obtain a RALC pass at the reference desk to borrow
from another Richmond area academic library. You can also request a book sent here via Interlibrary loan (ILL).
Both services are only available to JSRCC affiliates.

- How do I access library databases from off-campus?
- You can use your MyJSRCC username and password to access library databases from off
campus. See the VCCS off-campus access page for more information.

- Can non-JSRCC affiliates use library databases?
- Non-JSRCC affiliates can only use the library electronic databases in the library.
No off-campus access is available.

- First 10 pages are free. Additional pages are $.10 each.

- Yes, self-serve photocopiers are available and copies are $.10 each.

- How do I reserve a group study room at Parham Road Campus?
- Group study rooms can be reserved for groups of two or more people for academic and
college-related activities. You can reserve a group study room with any one of the
following methods:
- Call the Library Information/Circulation Desk at 804-523-5220
- Walk in and reserve at the Information/Circulation Desk
- Fill out the online reservation form
