Most reserves have a 2-hour loan period and checkout is limited to 2 items.

Note to Faculty

Faculty members are encouraged to put copies of textbooks or other required course materials on reserve for student use in the library. The library does not purchase textbooks to be placed on reserve. Faculty members are responsible for providing the textbooks unless the library currently owns a copy of the requested book in its collection. At this time, course reserves are limited to physical materials.

Faculty members need to fill out a Course Reserve Request Form and bring the reserve items to the library. Please allow at least one week for processing the items before notifying students of the material’s availability.

Copyright compliance is the responsibility of the faculty member. Be sure to check for any distribution restrictions that will make the item ineligible for reserve. Reynolds Library reserves the right to reject any materials that it deems violate Copyright Law.
